WHAT IS THE RESILIENCE ACADEMY?
'Netflix for your mind and soul'
'Leah on prescription'
When I started Searching for Serenity, I was frustrated by the complete lack of affordable, accessible resources on stress management, burnout and imposter syndrome. I had struggled by myself for years, creating solutions from scratch and investing in high level (multiple £1000’s) coaching, training, counselling and support to get me where I wanted to be.
So once I had trialled and tested and worked out the solutions, I swore that I would share everything I knew, in a low-cost, low risk, low-time commitment supportive environment for anyone who wanted to join. From that, The Resilience Academy was born.
Created in June 2017, the Resilience Academy has grown with my knowledge and with it’s members to spawn nearly 100 hours of training videos covering everything you might need as a stressed out, overworked professional with a side of people pleasing and burnout.
No more big money investments with little to no guarantee of reward.
No more hours traipsing across the city in rush hour traffic to get a half hour of support
No more lock-in contracts committing you to years of payments when you’re not even using it (hi, gym membership).
The Resilience Academy’s principle is simple. Support, whenever and wherever you need it, on what you need most.
One low cost monthly payment (£37/month)
No commitment - just a rolling monthly contract you can cancel at any time
Weekly live training that you can attend or watch on catch up
A closed and private Facebook group where our trainings are held and where you are encouraged to post, ask for support and help, or offer help and support to other members.
A Netflix-style array of past training videos for you to access whenever and wherever you are, for as long as you remain a member (provided you have wifi/data and earphones, I do swear after all…)
A monthly 1:1 call with me to go deeper, get individual support or sometimes just to catch up
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I access Burnout Breakdown as a separate course?
A: No, it is only available to current and ongoing members of The Resilience Academy.
Q: What if I decide that The Resilience Academy isn’t for me?
A: That’s no problem; your subscription to The Resilience Academy is on a rolling monthly basis, which means all you need to do is cancel your payment two days before your renewal and no more payments will be taken. No refunds are available, so if you miss your renewal date payment will be taken, but you will have access to the Academy and all it’s resources until your next renewal date.
Q: How do I cancel my membership?
A: You can do this by managing your payment details and membership within MemberVault (where you are taken to sign up) or you can contact Leah directly and she will arrange this with you. Please make sure to give at least 72 hours before your renewal date to ensure sufficient time to get this sorted for you!
Q: This is a group course, I’m worried about confidentiality
A: Completely understandable; I know that I am trying to change the way we think and talk about burnout, but confidentiality is as important to me as it is to you. Many of the members of The Resilience Academy have been with me since the beginning and it is part of the terms of your membership that you do not share information, discussions or identities outside of the group. The Resilience Academy is help within a closed group in Facebook, which means that no-one outside of the group can see that you are a member. If anyone were to breach confidentiality (and it has never happened to date) their membership (and access to all other Searching for Serenity programmes and mentoring) would be suspended and no refunds would be available. I am a former lawyer, I take my confidentiality and that of my clients incredibly seriously.
Q: Will I fit in?
A: Absolutely. We have a wide variety of members, with a real diversity of occupations, interests and demographics. Of course, if you join and decide that it’s not for you, you can of course cancel your membership at any time.
Q: I’m not much of a joiner, is that a problem?
A: Absolutely not. All trainings are delivered by facebook live within the closed group and are available in the group and in the member’s hub for you to catch up/rewatch at a later date. If you turn up live you can simply observe or ask questions in the chat. Some of my clients take up their monthly 1:1s every month, others catch up once a quarter or even less. There is so much support available and in so many different ways that it’s up to you to make use of it in the way that suits you best!
Q: Can I save up my monthly 1:1 sessions to have one big discussion?
A: Unfortunately not, they roll with your membership, but you might well be amazed what we can get done in a quick 20 minute audio call. If you need more help and support above and beyond the membership, you can reach out to me directly at any time and we’ll discuss further what it is that you need!
